The Impact of Media: Teaching Teens to Think for Themselves
by Susan M. Novick
It was very interesting when i past by this blogg were it started off talking about media and some statistic about how much time kids spend on it etc. Ater the 2nd paragraph i understood that the women writting about how media "the media tells them that drugs are cool, sex happens all the time and at an early age, and that violence is acceptable behavior", it made me realize that there is many parents out there which are blind of all the good things that media can do as inform. It impressed me that all what this women was commenting was negative. A fellow wise person came by when i was posting and comment," when a person is posting about how to parent kids, most likely they don't know what they are talking about, no one really knows" it made me think that no one really knows how to be parents since know one thought them how to, so at the end of the day susan M.Novick is not so bad, she is just a close minded.
